Once you fill out the form, you'll be directed to the CCA website where you'll need to pay the $795 tuition fee in order to complete your enrollment and secure your spot in this training.

Learn the philosophy, mythology, science, and practice of Yoga Nidra and be prepared to lead classes for others.

During this 32-hour course, designed by Dr. Marc Halpern, founder of the California College of Ayurveda (CCA), students will learn the philosophy, mythology, science, and practice of Yoga Nidra and be prepared to lead classes for others. Students will be guided through several sessions and also practice-teach several sessions. All students leave with an evidence-based packet to bring into conventional settings.

Upon completion, students will be prepared to offer this service to their community.

Small-Group Outdoor Training
Due to the recent pandemic, we have redesigned our course for maximum safety with the highest quality of training. This course has been limited to 12 students. This is a rare opportunity for a more personalized training experience.

  • Physiology of Yoga Nidra
  • The Science and Evidence-Basis For Yoga Nidra
  • Using Yoga Nidra for self-healing
  • How to teach Yoga Nidra in group and private settings

Course Credit:
This program qualifies for 32 hours of Approved Professional Development with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and 32 hours of Yoga Alliance (YA) Continuing Education credits.

Andrea Deerheart, PhD, ELP, is the founder of The HeartWay, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to embracing life through honoring death. Andrea’s primary work and teaching focus on issues related to aging, radiant wellbeing, cultural mythology, death and dying, and living a more compassionate life — as well as grief, loss, and mindful, compassionate care. Dr. Marc Halpern, DC, AYD
VP OF THE HEARTWAY, FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT OF THE CALIFORNIA COLLEGE OF AYURVEDA
A leader in the development of Ayurvedic Medicine in the West, Dr. Halpern is the co-founder of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, the National Association of Ayurvedic Schools and Colleges, the National Council on Ayurvedic Education and the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine. He has written three textbooks on the principles and clinical practices of Ayurvedic Medicine used at colleges across the United States and the popular book, Healing Your Life; Lessons on the Path of Ayurveda. He is also author of the #1 best-selling Meditation CD in the United States: Yoga Nidra and Self-Healing. Dr. Halpern sits on the editorial boards of five different indexed research journals in the United States and in India. Originally a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine and post-graduate specialist in Holistic Medicine, he began his studies of Ayurveda in 1991 with Dr. David Frawley and went on to study Ayurvedic Medicine with Dr. Subhash Ranade in 1993.
